Sarah White is the Administrative Assistant at Blue Hills Rest Home. She lives in Independence, Missouri, with her husband Jason White and her three dogs Freddie, Fyona, and Buddy. Sarah has the support of her husband and two sons, Andrew and Dylan. Sarah’s first grandson, Corbin James, recently celebrated his first birthday. His contagious smile melts your heart!

Sarah began her nursing career in 2001, when she attended Vatterott College. She became a Nationally Certified Medical Assistant. She has experience and knowledge in a variety of positions within the health care community. In 2012, she became a team member at Blue Hills Rest Home as a Nursing Assistant and then accepted the Administrative Assistant position.

Sarah is known as, “the one who runs the house”. She has built relationships with many of the residents and their families. She enjoys listening to each of the resident’s stories and watching their face smile with their memories. Her happiness comes from the opportunity to serve others. Sarah manages the employees to ensure that each employee is capable and confident to care for the resident’s needs.

When Sarah is not at work, she enjoys sending time with her family and friends, especially her grandson, Corbin. She enjoys the visits with her great nephews and watching them grow.



Sarah has recently been accepted to take the Missouri Nursing Home Administrators exam. Her confidence, perseverance, and energy is noticed by all.
